James Bulley
Managing Director
Hobbies & interests
Motorsport, the British Touring Car Championship, F1, skiing, live music, reading and socialising with friends.
Favourite holiday destination & type
French Ski Resorts, city breaks or scenic retreats. A long weekend in Porto would be great for a city break, whereas the Lake District or the Scottish Highlands would make a great scenic retreat.
Ideal weekend
Not getting up too early and going out for a long walk. Then relaxing with friends on a Sunday afternoon with a pack of cards and a few beers.
Favourite type of music
90’s House, Rock
Pets
None at the moment but would love to have a dog.
How would you describe yourself?
I would describe myself as hard working, motivated, reliable. My first job was working for my father, building industrial pressure washers on a Saturday morning and during the school holidays. I’ve always had an interest in computers, but when I got my first computer (a ZX Spectrum 48k) around the age of 10, I really got into PCs. My first very own PC I bought when I was 14 with the money I had earned whilst working for my dad and I haven’t looked back since. It’s been over 25 years that I’ve worked in this industry and over this time, I’ve seen technology changing significantly. I would say the one constant for me has been the value of the data and ensuring it’s backed up.

Hobbies & interests:
I play and coach Lions Inline Hockey Team at all age groups and enjoy watching Ice Hockey, USA or our local team. I also enjoy technology and am always looking at the latest gadgets to help improve my productivity at home and at work. I love going to gigs and festivals, but family time is also a big part of my life, as seeing my little boy and wife smiling is what brings me the most enjoyment in life.
Favourite holiday destination & type
I don’t really have a favourite holiday destination or type, I prefer going to festivals and gigs away from Manchester.
Ideal weekend
At a rink with playing games/watching my wife or little boy playing. Going away with my wife and having some time together watching a band with lots of JD. A family weekend together doing something outdoors which normally means getting wet and muddy with puddle jumping.
Favourite type of music
Indie is my most listened to music, but I don’t really have a type and like anything that has a good vibe to it. Favourite band has to be the Wombats.

Harry Fielding
Apprentice Infrastructure
Hobbies & interests
One of my main hobbies is tinkering with my personal PC seeing how I can improve it. However, another hobby that I am getting back into, and that few people know about, is training in mixed martial arts.
Favourite holiday destination & type
My favourite holiday destination would have to be Barcelona just due to the way the city looks and the amount of stuff you are able to do there.
Ideal weekend
My ideal weekend would consist of spending some quality time with my loved ones and having one or two slow-paced days where I can relax and unwind.
Favourite type of music
This is a difficult one for me, but I must put it between melodic rap and indie rock.
How would you describe yourself?
I am a 19-year-old IT Apprentice. I first started at CalderIT during March of 2021, and this was my first IT role. Computers have always been a massive passion of mine and have been since a young age. My dad has also always been one to tinker with machines and it was him who first got me into computers. I built my first ever computer with my dad showing me the ropes and this experience led me to where I am today and shaped my life and career goals.
